Refferal Monday!!!

Ok, I am going to keep you updated on when it is referral Monday!! This is the day, usually once a month on a monday, that AW recieves referrals from a list of adoptive children from China. This is a shared list so other agencies have access to it too. If our family coordinators find a match they lock it in to the particular family that matches with that child. The family then has about 48hours to decide if the child is the one God desires for them. If the child is matched with the family and they accept the match then you send in a letter of intent to adopt that child. After 72 hours if the child has not been accepted he or she is but back on the shared list. Pray for these parents who may be matched with their child. We are available to be matched but more than likely will not be matched until our dossier is in China. But pray anyway, God may already have Khloe on that list!!!!!! Love and blessings to all!!!!

Waiting on USCIS

So I know this is just the initial part of our waiting phase but I am one who likes to know what is going on while I am waiting!! Anyhow, please pray for our family as we begin the "waiting phase" of our adoption. Right now we are "waiting" for our USCIS approval. I would LOVE to have our dossier to China by the end of the year but have a feeling that is being a little hopeful!! I keep reminding myself it is all in God's timing and not Amy's. I know He knows best and He knows all!!!!

Mailing USCIS Monday

We are sending off our I-800 form tomorrow! This is the request to the government to bring a child into the US for adoption! Pray this will take only a few weeks. So excited to be getting to this point!

....Update 11/10, Typo kept us from mailing our I-800 at the beginning of the week. So off it goes tomorrow!!!

Bake Sale

Thanks so much for the wonderful donation from the Bake Sale at our church's Fall Festival!! Katie your wonderful idea turned into an awesome donation of $230 to our adoption fund! Thank you so much!! We love our church family and the generous, thoughtful people who have given so freely!!

Home Study Approved

We got the official word Friday that our home study is approved and that the final draft has been completed. We should receive the copies in the mail this week!! As soon as it comes, we can send off for USCIS approval. That can take from 6-8 weeks but I pray it will be sooner, before the holidays delay it more. Thanks for your prayers. This is going to HAPPEN!!!! We will also be talking to our family coordinator this week to finalize our Waiting Child Application. Once we speak to them they can begin the matching process!! Which means that we could be matched with a child anytime!!!!! Yay!!!

Praise the Lord
