Info on Our Girl!!

Just a few details on this precious little girl!! At present she is 22 months old. She will turn 2 years old in June. The crazy thing is guess where she is from..... The Guangdong Province!! Look at my blog from Sunday 3/25 if you don't know the significance of this!! God is AMAZING!!!! We were frantic and a little overwhelmed yesterday when our family coordinator called us to let us know we had been matched with a little girl! We expected this to happen in a few months never this quickly!! So we reviewed her file, prayed, and felt confirmed in the decision to proceed with this little girl! The fact that she is from Guangdong just confirmed our decision. The boys response to this precious little girl also confirmed God's calling for us to proceed with this little one! Her Chinese name is so special (no details at this time). The first part of the name is like our last name in the U.S. The other part is more like her first name. So, I told Eric to look up what her first name means and it means "orchid". So, putting that with Khloe which means "blooming" our baby's name will mean "blooming orchid"!!! How beautiful is that?? God works out even the smallest details doesn't He!! Anyway, to say the least we stayed up until 1:30am this morning completing the paperwork to ensure that noone else could lock in this little girl. Our EA (electronic acceptance or letter of intent) has been sent off and she will be our girl! So we expect to travel in about 6 months give or take a bit. I don't know how I am going to wait to get my hands on this little girl!! PRAY for her and for us through this stage! Just remember, "I (we) prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me(us) what I(we) asked of Him." 1 Samuel 1:27!!!!
We can't post pics or details until after the RA is received so if you want to see her then you got to wait!!!

EA

Just wanted to update you on our journey to our Khloe. Yesterday we accepted a referral!! What does that mean, you say... We know who our Khloe is! This is not an official approval from China but we have been matched with a child and we are moving on to the next step! We will be waiting for our Pre-approval from China (PA) which on average takes about a month. After we receive the PA, we will wait on the Refferal Acceptance (RA) which is the official approval from China that we can adopt this particular child. Once we receive the RA, we then wait on the Travel Approval (TA) which tells us an approximate time of travel! On average these last steps will take about 6 months give or take a little. Continue to pray for this process! Pray for Khloe who now we know who she is, what she looks like, her age, and some other details about this precious girl! UNBELIEVABLE! We never expected this to happen this quickly!! GOD IS AMAZING!

Nothing is Impossible with God

1 Samuel 1:27 reads, "I prayed for this child and the Lord has granted me what I asked of Him." Pray for Khloe and our family!!!

Auction

Going to start a blog donation auction in the next week! Got some awesome stuff you could win for the highest donation bid! Everything has been donated by some generous people! I can't wait to get this under way! Also, we will be having another yard sale in April hopefully! We have had some really nice stuff donated for the yard sale and would appreciate anything else! We also have some really cool Nascar items and Harley Davidson items that have been donated for auction. We have to do some research on these items this stuff is really awesome!! I can't wait to get this going!!!! Pray for our fundraising opportunities our final steps will cost around $17,000!!! God will provide but He expects us to put forth some effort too!!!

A neat story!!

Hey everyone just wanted you to know we are still "waiting" and probably will be for a while! Sorry I haven't blogged in a while but it has been a crazy few weeks! I do want to share a story with you. I was looking at FB about 2 weeks ago and saw the most precious photo of a new orphan going to Shepherd's Field in China. I saw her and my heart skipped a beat. I wondered if that would be how it would "feel" when I see Khloe for the first time. I continued to research this little one and figured out she had to be from Yangxi SWI in the Guangdong province of China. Her name, Song, is the surname given to children from this orphanage. Ofcourse, I was extremely curious about the orphanage she came from and began to research the location etc. of this orphanage. What I am about to tell you may sound strange and as if I am a little looney but sometimes God just lays it out there! As I was looking at images on the internet of maps of China at the bottom of one of the images it was tagged (and I promise I am not making this up)  the tag read "Chloe is from Yangxi in the Guangdong province." As I sat on my sofa dumbfounded I realized God was telling me, "I am in control, I know when, where, and who Khloe is do not be anxious, I am in control!"  Ofcourse, this map tagged back to a blog of another Chloe that was from this same orphanage that a family had previously adopted. I sent SF(Shepherd's Field Children's Village) an email to inquire about this little girl. She has a large hemangioma on her right cheek but does not involve her eye which is a great thing! I also sent a FB friend an email because she had only a few months ago adopted a little boy from China who lived at SF. So she got some information for me too from a worker at SF. Song's paperwork has not yet been started since she is only 4 months old. It is not possible to "pick" a child from China, the CCCWA does all the matching so the possibility of this being Khloe is slim to none. However, I have learned some important information about this precious little girl!! I am in the process of trying to sponsor Song through SF. I don't know if Khloe will come from this orphanage in the Guangdong province or if these crazy coincidences mean a thing, but I do know that God is in control! I am so amazed at how He is orchestrating this process!!... But wouldn't it be just like Him to make all this mean something one day............"I foretold the former things long ago, my mouth announced them and I made them known;  then suddenly I acted, and they came to pass." Isaiah 48:3 God is AMAZING!!
