LID (log in date) for dossier is 2/22/12!! This is the date our dossier was logged in with China government. YAY!!! We have a date!! Pray for families who are being matched with their children today! I don't expect being matched anytime soon but you never know! Just pray that we are prepared to make a decision when that moment gets here! Thank You LORD!!!

Our dossier arrived in Beijing, China at 9:08am on February 2oth! It is there! Awesome!

Dossier to China

DTC!! Dossier to China today!!! So hard to believe we are actually this far. I know it will still take some time to get a refferal for a child but we are so much closer!! YAY!!!! We can't believe that possibly within the year we will have a daughter! Pray that we will be matched in God's timing and that we will stay grounded in God's word so that we will know when we are presented with our daughter. That it will be as clear as possible that she is a Peacock! So, now we are starting the true "Waiting Phase." And we will wait with anticipation at what God has in store for us and Khloe.

Blog Auction

Ok guys,  you don't want to miss this!! In March I am going to begin a weekly or so auction on gift baskets and awesome items that are being donated by some awesome people! I am going to have cute girls dresses, a Scentsy basket donated, Thirty-One products basket, Initial Outfitters basket (jewelry!!), Gift Cards, and much more! I am so excited to be starting this next month! The highest bidder wins the basket or item and all proceeds go to our adoption fund!! AWESOME! Happy Day!

Thank you Lord that your mercies are made new every day! We had such a great day today! The boys, Eric, and I got to share about our adoption with the students at Westwood in chapel today! We did a skit and then spoke a few minutes to the students and staff. It is amazing how God gives us opportunities to share about what He is doing in our lives! After all, it is OUR story and we can tell it best! God can use anyone to accomplish His purpose. He wants to use me, he wants to use you. We just have to decide whether or not we will let Him use us. Thank you God for allowing us to go on this journey to Khloe.

Dossier at AW

Our dossier has safely arrived in Virginia at our adoption agency and our family coordinator says everything looks great. YAY!! It will be on the way to China by the end of the week! We will be anxiously awaiting our LID (log in date) in the next couple weeks! Unbelievable! God is GOOD!!!!!

Dossier Sent to AW

We sent the dossier today!! It was so emotional sending this paperwork off. This has taken over 6 months to get to this point! This paperwork represents my daughter so joyfully I am passing it onto our adoption agency because that means we are one giant step closer to Khloe. On the other hand, it is so hard to allow this dossier to be released from my hands into the mail without my personal delivery! But, I know God is in control! This dossier will make it to Virginia then China with no problem! God is in control! So, I thought I would give you a visual of what 6 months of work looks like.

Each blue document is a different piece of paperwork, each one notarized then certified at the county of the notary used, Secretary of State for that county, and lastly the Houston Chinese Consulate. The total was 14 documents that had to go through this process. It includes our Home Study which lasted about 8 weeks. We had to wait 2 months for an approval from the USCIS to bring a child back from China. So, needless to say these papers represent alot of hard work, late nights, tears, stress, along with joy and anticipation! Thank you God for your faithfulness! "I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart; I will tell of all Your wonders." Psalm 9:1

Next Steps

Yay! My first full day home in 7 days! So glad to just relax and do a little house work and be renewed! Everyone remember me and my coworkers in your prayers work has been quite stressful and the volume is beginning to weigh on us.... It's so sweet how we are anticipating our Khloe. Eric told me he sometimes just daydreams and envisions her sitting in her car seat beside Nathan. So SWEET! We are so in love with this child already! Please pray for our referral as we wait on it to come. We are mailing the dossier to America World tomorrow. Pray it gets there safely! Those papers represent my daughter right now, they mean alot to me. Praise God that with our tax money and money from other fundraisers or generous givers and savings we have enough to pay for the dossier submission phase! God has AWESOME timing! All glory should go to HIM, He is in control or as our pastor would say "God's got this!". Once America World receives this paperwork, it will be sent to China, we will receive a log in date (LID) then begin waiting for a referral. Hopefully it will be this year! Pray it will be this year!! We are so excited about this! Love and blessings to all of you who follow this blog!

Wonderful Day with my Boys

I think today was a wonderful day!! Got up early, got the boys ready and off to school, had to go to work for a short 4 hours to catch up on some stuff. Left there at 1:30 with the gorgeous sun shining! Came home straightened my house a little, finished a load of clothes and started another. Fixed some baked potato soup for the boys for dinner, fixed me a yummy strawberry banana smoothie with ice only no sugar or sweetener at all, it was a wonderful lunch smoothie!! By this time it is time to get the boys, then I spend the rest of the day with my precious boys! Did homework on a blanket in the sun, threw so balls and hit some balls, then we went on a hike to the creek and found our "stone of faith" to put in our garden. We then came back and ate dinner. I fixed Eric and I a wonderful salad with balsamic vinegar and olive oil dressing!! Delicioso!! Then we built a fire in our fire pit and sat around and talked, and decided what we would do at chapel next week. We then came in got baths, and tucked the boys in bed then dad came in and said the prayer. There was such a sweet spirit in that room. After Eric left the boys insisted I stay so I did. They wanted there legs scratched, ankles rubbed, and hand held. I asked them where Khloe would fit in they said right in the middle! Then John Michael asked me to sing a song...I sang, "Jesus lover of my soul...Jesus I will never let you go..You rescued me from the miry clay, set my feet upon the rock and now I know..." Suffice it to say I bawled through the whole song! Then they wanted me to sing Open the eyes of my heart, so we did and Brayden and Nathan sang that one with me. I bawled through it too. What a blessing to be a child of God, to get to share moments like these with the most important people in my life. To make memories with your boys that will stay with you and them forever. I held their hands as I sang and when I would cry a little during the song Brayden's hand would gently but firmly hold mine harder!! To know and feel that God was so strong in that room tonight! God has mighty plans for these boys and I am so thankful He gave them to me for a while. My kids are everything to me , my husband is my heart and bestfriend, but Jesus has my soul, heart, and mind! May I glorify you more every day. May my boys be courageous in their faith and grow to be Godly men!! I love my family and I love my God, Abba Father, Jehovah Jireh, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Emmanuel, wonderful counselor, my Best Friend!!

Thankful for Grace

Just spent an amazing 3 hours with 3 amazing ladies!!! God is so good! What an awesome opportunity to get to read a book and God's word with these ladies. We are reading, "Give them Grace: Dazzling your Kids with the love of Jesus". I think we are learning how wonderful God's grace is, and that Jesus is the reason for it all. There is nothing we could ever do to earn His grace but Jesus could and He did! Praise you father for your AMAZING GRACE!!

Dossier Complete!!

Oh my goodness, I have gotten all my dossier done!! Unbelievable! I started this back in July of 2011 and I am finished with the dossier! They said it would take about 6 months and it did, almost to the day! What a blessing and a challenge it has been working on this "paper" phase of our adoption. It is almost surreal that I am finished with this part. Ok, so next week when our agency gets our dossier it will really be on it's way to China! Thank you Lord!! You are an AWESOME God!!!
