Prayers Needed

Please pray that over the next week or so that we can get the rest of our fees for the next phase together. We have 2/3 of what we need to pay the next fees. Pray that the other amount will be provided. We are coming up with other fund raising ideas but they will be for the next phase...Thanks for your prayers and thank you God in advance for providing our needs...You are able to do more than we could ever imagine and we claim that promise in this adoption!! To God be all the glory and praise!!!

We still have tee shirts to sell and flashy blinky lights to sell for the adoption. This would really help us to get to where we need to be! We need about 2k more to get through the next payment we have about 4k now. Please pray that the lord will provide and that we can sell these shirts and toys.......Message me if you want any...

One Step Closer

Mom and I rode to the Secretary of States office today and had the last two documents certified. Mailing them to our courier service tomorrow. So excited to be at this point!! This paperwork is like GOLD to me! Alot of time, sweat, and tears put into it! I know it will all be so worth it! Paper pregnancy is tough! I don't think I put this much effort into being pregnant with the boys!! Can't wait until we get the first glimpse of our Khloe's picture!! Praise the LORD!! "Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!" Psalm 107:1

USCIS Approval!!

We got it!! We received our USCIS approval (1-797) in the mail today!!! So excited! God is GOOD all the time!! Next step is to have the last 2 documents authenticated then off to China! We are getting closer step by baby step!! Pray for Khloe and our family! Each step means we are closer to a referral for a child! Pray for this child in China that God knows is our daughter...Pray for our family that we will trust in God and follow His leadership through all the processes involved... Pray for orphans all over the U.S. and world...Pray that God will show you what your part is in taking care of an orphan in distress....Isaiah 1:17 reads, "Learn do do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the cause of orphans. Fight for the rights of widows."

Happy Birthday Nathan!!

My sweet baby boy is 4 years old today! He is such a blessing! So glad to have 3 boys and looking forward to our daughter. God knows what you need when you need it! It is amazing to see how God works and how He knows what is best! Nathan has grown up sooo much the last few months! I can't believe we have been blessed with this boy for 4 years! Thank you God for my precious Nathan!

While I am waiting...

We are still waiting... for the USCIS approval. Praying that it will come this week. This song puts things into perspective for me. Thankful that as we wait on God's timing He still has a purpose for us. I will serve Him while I'm waiting, I will  worship while I am waiting, and I will not faint I'll be running the race even while I wait...

Enough

So glad that my God is enough!! No matter how much I feel like I am not enough or have nothing to offer, God takes the small bit I have and makes it ENOUGH!! He is the voice of truth whispering in my soul that you are enough because my son Jesus lives within you and makes you more than enough! So, I choose to not listen to the father of lies, I choose to listen to the One who made me, saved me, and has plans for me still! My past is behind me the best is before me and God is always with me! And if God is for me then who can stand against me? Noone!!! Faith in action is His desire for my life! No matter what comes my way may I allow God's strength to be evident in my life!! "Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:11-13 NLT)"

Whew!

It's late and I am exhausted!! But so glad I have a wonderful home to come  home to with a husband who loves me and my children. To have 3 boys who are more than wonderful!!They are so incredible! We are going to begin a online bidding for items of all sorts. I am working on getting different donations for this donation auction which all proceeds will go to the Khloe fund. Can you help me?  I need people to donate items such as:

New or gently used little girls clothes
Products donated from Pampered Chef, Thirty-one, Initial Outfitters, Avon, Mary Kay etc. please comment if you are a representative of one of these companies and you could donate something.  Also, candles and jewelry would make great donations too. Artistic items would be fabulous too.

Decorative items for the home would make a great basket.

Products for a Ladie's goody basket, Mens Manly Basket, Kids Basket one boy and one girl basket, and so forth.

If you are willing to help get up these items that is great! We need all the help we can get! I will be putting the baskets together as soon as everything comes together. Also, any other ideas for raising funds would be appreciated!! Thanks! Amy

Join us on our Journey by following by email

Follow our blog by email at the bottom of the page. If you want to pray for our family, give in some way to this adoption, or just enjoy viewing our blog, please share it with anyone. We are so thankful to be able to do this and want everyone to see what God is going to do! Please share it with family and friends. God has called us to be the light in a world of darkness. Unfortunately, our light seems to shine only with other lights when instead light was made to disperse and is most effective in the dark. Kind of sounds like God wanting us to be the salt and light to this world. Our way of shining our God given light is to adopt a little girl from China. But I am certain her light will light up our lives and the lives around her. We want to be a  blessing to her but I know we will be the ones who really receive the blessing. So share this journey with us. Please comment (can comment as anonymous if you don't have one of the other accounts) but would love for you to follow this blog. I want to start an auction on items donated for baskets etc. or if you have any ideas let me know. Does anyone sew little girl things, make bows, have spa products, candle products, art, jewelry products, etc that you would donate to an auction for Khloe?? I would take care of putting it together and getting it to the highest bidder. Any other ideas please let me know! Thanks

Watch this video to get a better understanding of what acting on your faith means. It is such a touching presentation. But does it move you to action?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWHJ6-YhSYQ&feature=share

God's Blessings!!!!

So thankful for the gifts of generous people. So many people need to be thanked for their reaching out to a little girl in China whom they only know will be called Khloe. Eric and I are amazed at how good God is and how he provides for those who he has called to do something beyond the box. My word for the year is FAITH. Ofcourse, a resolution for this year is to grow in faith. To believe beyond doubt that God can do above and beyond anything I can imagine or think. To have more FAITH and to be more FAITHFUL. To be more faithful to the things God has created me for, to be more faithful to reading His word and becoming closer to God, and to faithfully uphold a resolution of getting in shape. One of my favorite songs during this adoption is by Chris Tomlin and it is Faithful. It speaks of God's faithfulness forever. So, if God is faithful then that is a characteristic I want to know more of and display more in my life. But when we have faith in Christ Jesus it compels us to act. So many times we sit on the sidelines and are moved with our feelings but not enough to move our feet and do something. My prayer for myself, my husband, and my family is that we never become docile but we steadfastly pursue the things of God. Which means we, as a family, must serve others. Pray for our family as we continue our journey to Khloe, but in the time we wait that we continually seek out ways to serve others, and in doing so our faith will grow. We have had a wonderful blessing. Khloe has been JAR'd by her aunt and uncle and cousin. They brought us a jar filled with money to go towards our adoption expenses. PRAISE the Lord for their gift. Also, we had a sweet family donate $200 in our name to our adoption agency. God's timing is perfect! We will more than likely be needing the money for the dossier submission within 2 weeks. So, that leaves about $2500 needed to complete the dossier submission fees. I ask that you pray God will provide that money and we will remain faithful to believe He can and He will. All praise and glory goes to My Heavenly Father without Him I would be nothing.
