Last Bag to Bid on

This will be my last bag of goodies for people to bid on unless you would like to donate something to our fundraiser! The bag is a cute and handy small organizer tote donated by Nicole Felten a consultant with Thirty One. A lovely seafoam green bead necklace and earring set donated by Ashley Reed a consultant with Initial Outfitters. Also in the bag will be a set of "Love Spell" lotion and shimmer spray from Victoria's Secret along with a cosmetic bag from VS too. These items were donated by a coworker. And for your tummy, Alicia Etters Maddox donated $25 worth of gift certificates from Chili's for this yummy basket!! And last but not least, a donation from myself for the bag, a journal which reads on the cover, "Everything is possible to the one who believes!" from Mark 9:23. I am holding on tight to the truth of this verse! Because I do believe God will move this mountain in the form of $18,000 between my new daughter and her forever family!! So please bid on this bag of goodies! Start the bidding at $25 since the bag of goodies is worth over $80 retail!!! Message me, comment, or send me an email at amypeacock@windstream.net

Here is a few pictures of this bag of goodies!

Guangzhou

Guangzhou is the city where Khloe leaves. She is in an orphanage there that holds about 1000 children. I am not sure of there numbers presently. But I wanted to give you a few facts about this city so that you will understand a little about Khloe's homeland. Click on this link to give you a short synopsis of what Guangzhou is like. Please keep our family in your prayers as we apply for grants to a couple places this week. We will need about $12-$13,000 more by the time we get to the travel payment phase. PRAY! And if you can think of any fundraisers please let me know!!!

He's Already There

Thanks to God for all He has done! I am so blessed and thankful! God has shown me that because of  what He did for us through Jesus, I should be thankful no matter the circumstances. The trials and hard times in this life can be overcome because He is for me and not against me. Trust in Him through those times, though it may be hard and feel like you are alone, trust in what He says in His word is the truth. Often times our "feelings" will lead us astray but stand fast in His word and know He will never leave you nor forsake you. If He has taught me one thing over the past year or so it is that He sees the whole picture. I can only see the present and remember the past, but God knows the future. I love the song, "Already There". It speaks of God seeing our whole lives, He's standing at the end of our lives looking from the other side, He knows and holds our future! So, when I become nervous or worried about the future or the chaos of my life, He gently reminds me "Amy, I am already there". He holds my future. And as Jeremiah 29:11 proclaims He has plans to prosper us and not to harm us and to give us a future that is full of hope!

My heart is to make a difference in this world. To touch it, even if in a small way, for the good of God's  kingdom. Hopefully at the end of my life God will say, "Well done". I don't always succeed at this or claim to make all the right choices, but I know who holds my future and that one day that future will include eternity with Him! On that day, when God and I look back on my life, I pray I honored Him with my life!
